I've started painting the edges of my canvases and adding embellishments to enhance to the pieces. Making sure the embellishments are firmly attached to the canvas was a process. At first I tried using a hot glue gun, but the pieces popped right off. So I've experimented with various glues until I found the right combination. The embellishments are metal, so I attach a small bit of paper to the back to help the glue attach to the canvas.
